hey y'all! we are back at it again on the blog, but today we are sharing the ultimate gift guide featuring shop small business + brands! to break this into sections, we will be sharing some companies we have tried/have stuff from, as well as some other companies that are on our wishlist//haven't tried before!! we love shopping small, and especially now, it is so important with the pandemic! because most shop small companies are local or in store only, online shopping is not an option! we want to support these business the most, because we know the pandemic has hurt them greatly!! it's that time to start making your holiday wishlists if fortunate, so we wanted to help y'all with that! also, it is a great option to help those in need, and support a child or even a family with their holiday season! usually we have always done a holiday gift drive through our local YMCA or school, but obviously this year looks different! with that said, we want to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season!
COMPANIES WE HAVE STUFF FROM:
1. Design Daze @dezign.daze
we are absolutely in love with everything Dezign Daze makes! as y'all may know tie-dye is by far our fav trend!!!! our sweet friend hand makes everything and she puts so much love and thought into each and every piece she makes! she also can iron on decal's which is super cute, which makes cute college clothing, especially for college commits!
2. Tanceuticals @tanceuticals
especially in the cold chicago weather, we tend to get quite pale, however we love a good summer glow! Tanceuticals makes tanning easy and simple! plus, this tanning lotion smells great and doesn't give that chemically smell! we have both the body lotion as well as the face lotion, and these both provide a summer glow!! we have the dark shade, which only makes the tan appear faster, so we def. recommend this!! it's also such a cute stocking stuffer or a great secret santa gift!
3. LitMitts @_litmitts
we just recently received the custom oven mitt they sent us, and omg its so cute! we got ours in pink with our faces on it to gift to our fam! this gift is so affordable and such a cute one! especially in times like these where we may not be able to visit others, this oven mitt can be personalized with your face on it to send to a loved one, so they can have you wherever they go! (or at least in the kitchen haha!)
4. Frankies on The Park @frankiesonthepark
this cute boutique, located in lincoln park and los angeles, is just soooo cute! we always love a city day, and stopping here is a must! although a "bigger" shop small business, frankies, is a store y'all need to check out! they carry so many things, but some great holiday gifts from here include: face masks, patches, bags, fuzzy pj shorts, games, stationary, jewelry, and of course clothes! frankies has everything a girl could ask for- and we just love how sweet everyone is there! although a small business, they do have an online store!!!
5. Safe and Stylish @safeandstylish_
this adorable company sells the cutest mask chains and pouches! everything is made custom, and you can design your own mask pouch!! everything she uses is such great quality and so trendy! while the pandemic is still going on, we need to all remember to wear our masks, and her pouches are the cutest way to organize them all!! (these pouches also make great makeup bags, hair tie bags, or even nail polish bags!) plus, she makes the cutest mask chains which add a great accessory to an everyday outfit!
we love all these companies, and y'all should definitely check them out and support them! there are also a few small businesses that we do not own something from, but we put on our holiday wishlists!

based in north carolina, this adorable small business makes the cutest clothes, but we have to say their smily sweatshirt is our fav!!!
2. Madi Grace @shopmadigrace
this shop small company is so precious, and carries so many lovely items! our favorite though has to be their necklaces! we love how adorable their lightning bolt necklace is and how they can go with so many things!
3. Lash Out @lasssh_out
lash out makes the coolest customized embroidered apparel! they are known for their smily face embroidered hoodies, which we have to say, are so dope!!! we've never seen anything like it, but y'all we need to get our hands on their products asap!
4. Hardcore College @hardcorecollege
hardcore college is a local small business in our neighborhood! they make the coolest custom college apparel, and recently came out with sorority stuff! this makes perfect gifts for your college friends or even someone who just committed to college! we personally don't own anything from them, however, we have bought a few gifts for our friends from here! they are so sweet and we definitely recommend y'all go check them out! they also ship out of state, and everything is made with so much talent and love!
5. Chemical Threads @chemical.threads
for the coolest vintage college finds, you need to check out chemical threads! they add their own special touch to everything, and tie dye every single piece! this takes college clothing to the next level, and is something so unique!!!! plus, for all the chicago locals they drop off and do pickup!!!
