Long time no blog, however, we are soooo excited to share this blog post! Today, we will be sharing with y'all our inspo behind our merch launch! We want to thank you guys who have supported us on swaffystrends and continue to support us- it means the world! A huge thanks to those that also bought our merch, we are so pumped to see y'all rocking our swag! Okay without furthur ado....
Here is a pic of our merch up above! We worked super hard with @creativecustomss to create a design that y'all will love and something that is creative as well as fun! When we finally came up with this plan together, we were all super excited! While the smily face and the xoxo are designs, they also mean something a little more! From the start we knew we wanted something simple but something where people would associate the hoodie with swaffystrends (which is why we put swaffystrends on the sleeve!). Furthurmore, we are obsessed with this smiley face because of the message it brings. It reminds people that despite all the bad in the world, now, in the past, or anytime really, if we all try to stay positive and happy, we can get through anything and conquer our dreams! This small idea can really bring light to a situation, which is an idea we find so cool! As y'all know we close out all of our posts with xoxo, so we obviously had to include that as it is a "signature" swaffystrends thing! But with this, we really want y'all to understand the xoxo. While we say this simple message on our posts, we really want to bring love everywhere! We try to spread love wherever we go, and the xoxo really just sums up this idea to "love thy neighbor" as theirself. Cheesy, we know, but it is just so true! Hoodies come in adult and youth sizes, as well in either light pink or light grey!
Beyond this, we love to give back, especially to places that have given to us. That is why we have chosen to give 5% of our proceeds from every purchase to the RMHC in Chicago! We were born 2 months early, and were called "miracle babies" due to the high risk pregnancy as well as the rare type of twins we are (MOMO twins). Due to all the complications with us being premature and MOMO twins, we were admitted to the NICU for 2 months, where we were carefully monitored by doctors and nurses! During this hard time, the RMHC truly helped so much! Living in the suburbs and having to travel to the far south side of Chicago everyday can be draining and can cost tons, however, with the RMHC our family was able to stay right by us through our NICU fight! The RMHC was a home away from home for our parents to provide the comfort needed, especially during our battle! Because of this, we are so beyond thankful and we find a way to give back every year! So do know, that with every purchase of our merch, you are helping a family in need stay close to their loved one during hard times! More details: Right now we are doing pre-orders! This means that, you can order it now and pay so we can get all the orders in and then they will be done for delivery the first week of December! To accommodate everyone, we have decided to make youth hoodies as well as adult hoodies.To get your hoodie to fit the best, we have provided a size chart below!
