hey y'all! we have been collecting tons of questions you guys have been asking us and we finally wanted to turn in into a blog post! in todays post we will share questions both about our blog/insta and our personal life! we hope you enjoy!!!

Q:When and why did you guys start blogging/using instagram for @swaffystrends?

A: We first started using instagram for our personal accounts back in 2015! We love instagram and the great platform is really is! Nevertheless, our love for social media and fashion was the true start of @swaffystrends! We started this instagram back in March of 2018. We love fashion, stye, and love inspiring others to feel confident in what they wear! We also love to write, so that is why we started our blog back in 2019! Since then, we have grown in so many ways and are so thankful for all the love and support! We truly can not do all of this without y'all!

Q: How do you stand out being smaller bloggers?

A: As small bloggers, we are always looking for ways to get our names out there and share our page! At first we really struggled with our blog and our follower count, however, we have collected some tips along the way! On our instagram, we try to maintain a theme and neutral colors! Having a constant theme makes your instagram look very clean! We are also part of some "gain groups" which are small chats on instagram (which basically are bloggers supporting other bloggers). We also try to do a good amount of collaborations which helps get our name out! As for our actual blog, we try to post things that are interesting and gain people's eyes! All in all, just take it slow and everything will work out!

Q: Where do you get your inspiration for y'alls outfits/style?

A: We have gotten this question A LOT! We try to stick with the trends, hence swaffysTRENDS, however, we always want to put are own twist on it! For example, if denim is trending we like to find denim with acid wash and a cute cut! Inspiration wise, we usually get it from other people around us and we also just kind of see what we like!

PERSONAL:

Q: How are y'all related?

A: haha, we have also gotten this question a good amount of times! we are twins!! more specifically, we are identical MOMO twins! according to Wikipedia, "Various types of chorionicity and amniosity (how the baby's sac looks) in monozygotic (one egg/identical) twins as a result of when the blastocyst or embryo splits. Monoamniotic twins are identical twins that share the same amniotic sac within their mother's uterus.[1] Monoamniotic twins are always identical, always monochorionic and are usually termed Monoamniotic-Monochorionic ("MoMo" or "Mono Mono") twins.[1][2] They share the placenta, but have two separate umbilical cords. Monoamniotic twins develop when an embryo does not split until after formation of the amniotic sac." Okay, this was a lot of information, but we have gotten lots of questions about this, so we wanted to answer it as best as possible!

Q: Do you guys want to go into fashion careers after college?

A: currently, we both just ended our sophomore year of high school, so we will be juniors next year! we obviously have a little bit of a plan figured out of what we want to do, but like anything, things can always go a different way! it has been our long time dream and goal to both go to direct nursing programs after high school! we both want to become nurses. we both love the idea of helping those in need, and we love the medical and science field! also, due to the fact that we were born 2 months early, we truly want to show our gratitude, and think it would be so amazing to help others for the ones that helped us! as for fashion, we always will have a passion for it, but we don't see ourselves going into fashion careers after high school. right now, we both would love to work at a boutique, because we love to shop small but that is our only goal with a "fashion career" for right now!!

Q: How do you guys balance "blog life" and "school life"

A: we are going to be honest, at times it has been hard! we want to upload a new blog post, but we need to remind ourselves to stay on track with our school work! we both are super dedicated students, with all A's and B here and there! we know that if we do well in high school, it will prepare us for the future and help us get into a college we like! we usually take our photos for our instagram on the weekend, that way we don't have to be rushed! we are also both all year athletes, so our schedules are always so crazy! however, we make it work because we love this platform so much and we wouldn't trade it for the world!!
