HAIR we are (our haircare routine!!)

Updated: Mar 26, 2020

hey y'all! welcome back to another blog post! in this awesome new post (not to be bias of course lol), we will be sharing our hair care routine which has been voted on by some gals on insta! these products are what work for us, so as much as we love them, each person has their own unique hair!!

we both are OBSESSED with the teenology hair care line! personally our favorites are the vanilla almond shampoo and the cafe mocha conditioner. both these products leave our hair smelling great and clean! we rave about teenology because of the fact that it is gentle on the skin! it is free of sulfates, parabens, and other oils that tend to cause acne!! our hair is naturally straight and blond, however we do have highlights in our hair, so we have to make sure we use the right products so our highlights will "stay". teenology products don't damage color, which is also another plus! when we don't use teenology hair care we use the matrix biolage colorlast shampoo and conditioner. these products are especially great for colored hair because it provides vitamins to the hair that are good for color to last in your hair. plus, the smell of these products- ugh just amazing!!!! we wash our hair about every other day, although we are guilty of sometimes washing it multiple days in a row due to our activities and sports. we know its not good to wash your hair every single day, but honestly it just makes us feel clean! we will use these products in the shower, and when we get out we use the teenology detangler. the detangler helps with any knots and helps to smooth out the hair. obviously, brushing out hair is a must, and we have always used the wet brush brand brush! its super gentle on the hair, unlike others, where it can just pull out your hair! (and hey, here is a tip! always start brushing your hair at the bottom and work your way up. this avoids hair loss).

after this, there really isn't much we do! we usually will just let it air dry and put it in a braid to dry. (another tip- try to avoid as much heat as possible! if you want wavy hair, braid wet hair rather than using a curler!) below we have attached pictures and links of all our products that we use. they can be found at lots of places, so the links below are just from amazon since that is the most convenient!
