hey y'all! we have been asking you guys on our insta, what are some things you want us to post on our blog, and we have made your thoughts a post!! ever wondering how to create an outfit? sometimes, we are too, but that's why we want to break it down for you in a couple simple steps. we always start by picking out a shirt. once we have that, we move to what bottoms to pair with the top. to be honest, we will usually wear leggings to school, but some days we wear jeans. if you are wearing a fitted top, then you can either wear fitted bottoms, such as tight-ripped jeans or joggers. also with a fitted top, you can wear loose bottoms such as joggers or mom jeans. if the top you picked out is loose, such as a long and loose t-shirt/long sleeve, then we suggest pairing it with bottoms that are tight. these could be leggings or tight jeans. if you pair a loose top with loose bottoms, nothing is wrong with that; it's just in our opinion, an outfit looks more put together when these "fashion rules" are followed! once we have this done, then it is time for shoes. shoes are actually one of our fav parts of outfits because they can spice up a look in so many ways! for school, we will usually wear one of the following: stan smith's, air force 1's, black platform puma's, white van's, or if we're going for a comfy look, tasman ugg slippers are the way to go! after shoes, it is time for hair pieces and jewelry!! for school, we will usually just wear our hair down but we always have a ponytail or scrunchie on our wrist. this is because, sometimes during class, hair can get in the way. having a scrunchie is fashionable and it doesn't pull out hair when you tie it up. also, hair scarfs are a cute way to go because you can just tie your hair back, but it provides a little extra detail! another hair "extra" are hair clips. hair clips have been trending lately and are super pretty! big one's with pearls on it provide a statement in your hair that is sooooo fun and cute! as for jewelry, we both wear our same necklace and earrings each day! however, if you do change necklaces, maybe try layering- a short necklace/loose choker paired with a longer necklace. small pearls, studs, or hoops are great for an everyday earring because they go with anything. to spice up earrings, you can try small shapes such as lightning bolts or stars!
